Cause of stress and problems

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite ones.
Telling them to help themselves to hot coffee. When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: “If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and were eying each others’ cups. Now if life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn’t change. Some times, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it.”
So, what drives you? Coffee or cup? Think about it…. And enjoy your cup of Coffee….

Short Temper

While Dad was polishing his new car, his four-yr old son picked up a stone & scratched lines on the side of the car.
In his anger, Dad took the child’s hand & hit it many times, not realizing he was using a wrench,
At d hospital, his child said, “Dad, when will my fingers grow back?”. Dad was so hurt.

He went back to the car and kicked it a lot of times. Sitting back, he looked at d scratches. child wrote

“I LOVE YOU DAD”.

ANGER & LOVE have no limits ……………

Many times people don’t understand their loved ones and they take wrong decisions hastily and make wrong actions impulsively that would ultimately be destructive to themselves

A touching story

This is truely a beautiful Story,

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw the lady in the
cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn’t have been more than 8 or 9 years old.

The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.’

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ”Nanny,
are you sure I don’t have enough money?”

The old lady replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to
buy this doll, my dear.”

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to
look around for a cheaper one. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.

She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.’

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after
all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. ‘No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her
where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mummy so that she can
give it to my sister when she goes there.’

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ‘My Sister has gone to be with
God. Daddy says that Mummy is going to see God very soon too, so I
thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister
.”

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ‘I told daddy to tell mummy
not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the shops.’

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He
then told me ‘I want mummy to take my picture with her so she won’t
forget me…..’

‘I love my mummy and I wish she didn’t have to leave me, but daddy
says that she has to go to be with my little sister.’

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ‘Suppose we check
again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll!”

‘OK’ he said, ‘I hope I do have enough.’ I added some of my money to
his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough
for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: ‘Thank you God for giving me enough money!’

Then he looked at me and added, ‘I asked last night before I went to
sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so
that mummy could give it to my sister . He heard me!”

‘I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mummy,
but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much.. But He gave me enough to
buy the doll and a white rose.”

‘My mummy loves white roses.’

As I saw the old lady returning, I left with my basket as to not cause a scene.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when
I started…

I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind.
Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which
mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young
woman and a little girl.
The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical
state. The family had to decide whether to remove the life-sustaining
machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the
coma.

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news
paper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went
to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people
to see and make last wishes before her burial.

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her
hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her
chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed
for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his
sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine.

And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

This is the sad state of Ganesh.
Every year, lakhs of Ganesh idols are immersed at the end of 9 days Gahesh festival in sea, lakes, rivers canals in India. Most of them are large idols made of plaster of Paris and other environmentally harmful materials.
Nothing will happen to you if you don’t email or share this with others.
But it would be great if you can do it to avoid real desecration !
So, PLEASE
Use Eco-Friendly Statues
Use STATUES purely MADE BY ONLY CLAY
Which dissolves in water fast & easily.
Thanks.

Clean your food/drink cans, packaging, boxes

This is information worth sharing

A stock clerk was sent to clean up a storeroom in Maui, Hawaii.

When he got back, he was complaining that the storeroom was really filthy and that he had noticed dried mouse/rat droppings in some areas. A couple of days later, he started to feel like he was coming down with stomach flu, complained of sore joints and headaches, and began to vomit.

He went to bed and never really got up again. Within two days he was severely ill and weak. His blood sugar count was down to 66, and his face and eyeballs were yellow. He was rushed to the emergency at Pali-Momi, where he was diagnosed to be suffering from massive organ failure. He died shortly before midnight.

No one would have made the connection between his job and his death, had it not been for a doctor who specifically asked if he had been in a warehouse or exposed to dried rat/mouse dropping s at any time. They said there is a virus (much like the Hanta virus) that lives in dried rat and mouse droppings.

Once dried, these droppings are like dust and can easily be breathed in or ingested if a person does not wear protective gear or fails to wash face and hands thoroughly.

An autopsy was performed on the clerk to verify the doctor’s suspicions.

This is why it is extremely important to ALWAYS carefully rinse off the tops of canned sodas or foods, and to wipe off pasta packaging, cereal boxes, and so on.

Almost everything you buy in a supermarket was stored in a warehouse at one time or another, and stores themselves often have rodents.

Most of us remember to wash vegetables and fruits but never think of boxes and cans.

The ugly truth is, even the most modern, upper-class, super store has rats and mice. And their warehouse most assuredly does!

Whenever you buy any canned soft drink, please make sure that you wash the top with running water and soap or, if that is not available, drink with a straw. The investigation of soda cans by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta discovered that the tops of soda cans can be encrusted with dried rat’s urine, which is so toxic it can be lethal. Canned drinks and other foodstuffs are stored in warehouses and containers that are usually infested with rodents, and then they get transported to retail outlets without being properly cleaned.
